Ohio unemployment rate falls to 9.2% in February

Ohio?s unemployment rate inched closer to the national average in February, falling marginally to 9.2 percent, the state Department of Job and Family Services reported Friday.
The seasonally adjusted jobless rate was down from January?s 9.3 percent, which was downwardly revised from an earlier reported 9.4 percent.
Nonfarm payroll gained 13,600 over the month to hit 5.08 million, while the ranks of those out of work and seeking a job fell by 9,000 to hit 542,000. A year ago, Ohio unemployment stood at...
