Shortages choke Tripoli as sanctions take hold

Fuel shortages are a harsh sign of how how Libya's plunge into chaos is affecting the stronghold of the defiant leader Moammar Gadhafi.Cars sat abandoned in miles-long fuel lines, motorists traded angry screams with soldiers guarding gas stations, and many shops were closed Sunday on what should have been a work day.
