Delta more on-time in July; CVG arrival rate worsens

Delta Air Lines Inc. had better on-time performances in July, according to the most recent federal air travel statistics. The Bureau of Transportation Statistics? monthly aviation report shows Atlanta-based Delta?s flights were on-time 79.9 percent of the time, giving the carrier a sixth-place ranking among the top 18 American airlines in the report. In July 2010, Delta (NYSE: DAL) ranked 16th with an on-time percentage of 69.9. The industry average on-time percentage for July was 77.8. Delta ranked eighth for consumer complaints in June with 156 and seventh for mishandled baggage with 30,168 reports...
